Cell name:
MOLT-4
Other names for the model:
Molt-4、MOLT 4、Molt 4、MOLT.4、MOLT4、Molt4、GM02219、GM02219C、GM2219C 、GM02219D、Accession CVCL_0013
Cell information:
MOLT-4 cells are derived from human acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells. The MOLT-4 cell line is of T lymphocyte origin. There is a G→A mutation in codon 248 of the p53 gene. It does not express p53, immunoglobulin or Epstein-Barr virus; it can produce high levels of terminal deoxyribose transferase; Expresses CD1 (49%), CD2 (35%), CD3 A (26%) B (33%) C (34%), CD4 (55%), CD5 (72%), CD6 (22%), CD7 ( 77%). Model information:
1X107 MOLT-4 cells per mouse are inoculated into right flank region in NOD SCID mice.
About 21 days post inoculation, the mice can be grouped, with average tumor volumes at 150-250 m3.
The duration of treatment is about 19 days post grouping (when the tumor volumes in the vehicle group reach 2000 m3).
