Cell name:
Calu-6
Other names for the model:
CaLu-6、CALU-6、Calu.6、Calu 6、Calu6、CALU6、CaLu-06
Cell information:
Calu-6 cells are derived from human degenerative lung cancer cells and are one of the widely used lung cancer models. They carry Kras mutations and are used for the pharmacodynamic activity of various kinase inhibitors (such as MEK, ERK1/2, etc.) and combination drug trials. Click to view More information.
Model information:
5X106 Calu-6 cells per mouse are inoculated into right flank region in BALB/c Nude mice.
About 10 days post inoculation, the mice can be grouped, with average tumor volumes at 150-250 m3.
The duration of treatment is about 21 days post grouping (when the tumor volumes in the vehicle group reach 2000 m3).
