Cell information:

A549 cells are derived from human lung cancer cells and are one of the most commonly used lung cancer models. The cells have kras G12S and p53 mutations and highly express EGFR. Click to view More information.


Model information:

5X106  A-549 cells per mouse are mixed with Matri-gel and inoculated into right flank region in BALB/c Nude mice.

About 21 days post inoculation, the mice can be grouped, with average tumor volumes at 150-250 m3.

The duration of treatment is about 34 days post grouping (when the tumor volumes in the vehicle group reach 2000 m3).
