There are several types of animal models for lung cancer, including tumor transplantation models, chemical induction models, and genetically engineered models.
Tumor transplantation model: This model is an animal model of tumor formed by transplanting tumor cells or tissues into experimental animals. According to the different sources of tumor cells or cancer tissue blocks, it can be divided into syngeneic models and xenograft models. Among them, xenograft models are further divided into two categories:
CDX model: A tumor model constructed by transplanting tumor cell lines into nude mice or NSG mice. This model can be performed through subcutaneous injection or orthotopic injection.
PDX model: Tumor tissues are transplanted into NSG mice in the form of tissues, thus maintaining the heterogeneity of the tumor well.
