Leukemia Model

        The leukemia animal model is an important tool for studying the pathogenesis, disease progression, and drug screening of leukemia. These models mainly include the following: spontaneous model, induction model, virus and transposon induction model, genetic engineering model, and xenograft model. 

        The following are some characteristics of leukemia xenograft animal models: 

            Simulation of human disease: this model can simulate the typical features of human leukemia, including histopathological and immunohistochemical characteristics; 

            High success rate: due to the lower immune response of immunodeficient mice, immune rejection during transplantation is greatly reduced, resulting in a high success rate of transplantation; 

            Research tool: this model is an important tool for studying the pathogenesis and therapeutics of leukemia. For example, it can be used to test the therapeutic efficacy of novel drugs and select the most effective treatment plan.
