Cell name:
Hepa1-6
Cell information:
Hepa1-6 cells are derived from liver tumors of C57L/J mice. Unlike other commonly used mouse liver tumor cells, Hepa1-6 cells are derived from spontaneously formed liver tumors rather than tumors induced by compounds.
Model information:
5X106 Hepa1-6 cells per mouse are mixed with Matri-gel and inoculated into right flank region in C57BL/6J mice.
About 4 days post inoculation, the mice can be grouped, with average tumor volumes at 150-250 m3.
The duration of treatment is about 22 days post grouping (when the tumor volumes in the vehicle group reach 2000 m3).
Reactivity to tumor immune drugs :
Moderate response to multiple immune checkpoint inhibitors
Application areas:
Pharmacodynamic evaluation of multiple immune checkpoint inhibitors alone and in combination
