Cell name:
Renca
Cell information:
Renca cells are derived from kidney tumors spontaneously formed in BALB/c mice, and are poorly differentiated renal cortical adenocarcinoma. They are granular, pleomorphic, and have a large nucleus.
Model information:
Renca transplanted tumors inoculated in BALB/c mice form stable tumor masses subcutaneously and are less likely to metastasize. Compared with other models (such as CT26, EMT6, B16F10, etc.), RENCA transplanted tumors have more macrophages and complement systems, and high expression of natural immune related genes such as TLR4, CD14, Ticam1, and TLR5. In addition, high expression of MHC-II was observed in Renca transplanted tumors.Reactivity to tumor immune drugs :
Responsive to multiple immune checkpoint inhibitors or activators
Application areas:
Pharmacodynamic evaluation of immune checkpoint inhibitors or activators and combinations
