Cell name:
Renca
Cell information:
Renca cells are derived from kidney tumors spontaneously formed in BALB/c mice, and are poorly differentiated renal cortical adenocarcinoma. They are granular, pleomorphic, and have a large nucleus.
Model information:
3X105 Renca cells per mouse are inoculated into right flank region in BALB/c mice.
About 8 days post inoculation, the mice can be grouped, with average tumor volumes at 150-250 m3.
The duration of treatment is about 15 days post grouping (when the tumor volumes in the vehicle group reach 2000 m3).
Reactivity to tumor immune drugs :
Responsive to multiple immune checkpoint inhibitors or activators
Application areas:
Pharmacodynamic evaluation of immune checkpoint inhibitors or activators and combinations
