The World Lab Animal Day | Pay tribute to the unsung heroes with awe

April 24th every year is The World Lab Animal Day.

Truwaybio held a commemorative event this morning to remind and hope that all animal experiment practitioners should cherish the lives of experimental animals.

Conduct animal experiments in a scientific and standardized manner, consciously safeguard the welfare of experimental animals, and strictly abide by the 3R principles of animal ethics.

A moment of silence for all

The general principle is to respect life, use animals scientifically, rationally and humanely, and follow the "3R" principle of replacement, reduction and refinement.

The core of animal welfare is the five freedoms: the freedom from hunger and thirst, the freedom to live comfortably, the freedom from pain, injury and disease, the freedom from fear and sadness, and the freedom to express nature.

Experimental animals play an irreplaceable role as "human substitutes". Without experimental animals, there would be no development and progress in biomedicine today.
